Temporary position initially for 4 weeks with the possibility of extending

Hrs Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

To start ASAP within the next 2 weeks

To work with the invoicing team checking, verifying and submitting agency invoices for payment.

5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English
Language or equivalent or higher educational
standard AND 1 years administrative /clerical experience

OR

3 years’ administrative / clerical experience

In addition to one of the above:

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word & Excel

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to use own initiative

Good organisational skills with an ability to prioritise own workload

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to remain calm under pressure

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain an accurate nurse bank register using the approved IT system.
Maintain up-to-date records of bank nurse availability and ensure that schedules of
availability covering the out-of-hours period are placed on E-Roster to ensure access by Senior Nurses.
Maintain accurate records of shifts offered to, and confirmed with bank nursing staff.  Assist in the validation of salary forms submitted by bank nursing staff to ensure accuracy in shifts confirmed by the Nurse Bank Management Team and hours claimed by staff.

Ensure that validated salary claim forms are forwarded to Payroll Department in a timely manner.
Assist in the production of reports on bank nurse usage to be presented to Ward Sisters/Charge Nurses, Service Managers and Senior Managers using various suitable.
